Please tell me how you REALLY feel....

Would you REALLY want to know what the people around you think about you and the things you do?

It's not as hard as you might think. It just takes a little calibration on your part.

You have to get an idea of how the person normally feels, their general disposition, sunny or surly.

Once you have their baseline, you can notice any deviations with ease.

The key is to notice.

Open your eyes and your ears, and your... soul...

It surprises me that people don;t do this as often as they should.

Alot of lives can be saved when you PAY ATTENTION.

The rapist that wants to rape you is going to have a certain body language.

The boss that wants to give you that raise is going to have a certain body language.

That Victoria's secret model that you're kicking out of bed is going to have a certain body language.

You see, what people say and what they do are two totally different things.

A person may say "no", but their head is nodding "yes, I did it"

You have to realize that you are dealing with the subconscious mind at the same time. And the subconscious mind controls the body. The subconscious mind stores your memories. The subconscious mind is the storehouse of all your skills.

A person can't lie to you and get away with it unless they've been trained to do so.

The key tings that you want to pay attention to are:

1) Tone of voice, through which you can determine certainty and uncertainty, how much a person believes something, how they truly feel, etc

2) Body movements: Twitches, head nods, eyes looking in a certain direction ( eye accessing cues)

3) Posture: Let's you know how a person is feeling. Changes in posture correlate with changes in thoughts and emotions. Common sense will tell you that when people feel good, they stand up tall, and when they feel like shit, they keep their head down and limit eye contact.

There are many more indicators that will allow you to read a person like a open book with huge letters, but these are enough to get you started on the road to mastery.

The key is calibration.
