I was surfing the net and I happened across the small clip of herschel walker describing his workout routine, which came about as a necessity.
Pay close attention to the moment when talks about not having any excuses:

Greek Medicine: A comprehensive system of WHOLE-ism
I was doing my nightly serach for wisdom ( and donuts) when I happened across this site here:
http://www.greekmedicine.net
This site is AWESOME.
The thing that really caught my attention about this site was the information on exercise. Being a personal trainer, it's important for me to really understand my clients, their predispositions, so I can program a exercise routine for them that fits THEIR persoanlities and THEIR likes and INTERESTS.
It has excellent information on:
Diet
Personality types
Methods of Diagnosis
and the list goes on!!!!
It's just awesome and I think you'll find when you look around and read the information, you'll easily find things that you can apply to YOUR life RIGHT NOW.
Here's that site again just in case you didn't remember it:
http://www.greekmedicine.net
There are TONS of resources and links for you to check out and see what's interesting to you.
Have fun navigating this site: I certainly do!!!
Sincerely,
Amir Campbell

Pull ups - not just diapers....
I know, the joke was lame and corny, even.
But the fact remains that pull ups are AWE-SOME.
Pull ups are a total body exercise.
Now...
What does that mean?
It means that every single major muscle group in your body is called to duty to stabilize you during the exercise. What's that mean? Well...:
Abs - worked
Lats - worked
Forearms - worked
Biceps - worked
Obliques - worked
Did you know that compound exercises such as the Pull Up and the Squat - can increase the amount of growth hormone your body naturally releases, which in turns speeds up your ability to build muscle, burn fat, and increase your energy levels?
It's one of those few exercises that can be modified and progressed beyond anything you can imagine.
While I'm not a proponent of strictly bodyweight routines, I do believe that the pull up is one of those exercises that you want to through into your routine at least once a week.
In general , I tend to favor exercises that require you to exert your maximum strength. The pull up is one of those exercises.
If you've done a pull up, or seen pull ups done, you have noticed the form used by the person engaged in the agony.
To make it as simple as possible:
Bad form = dangerous
Good form = strength enhancing
Can you see the difference...
I'll post a few videos that demonstrate proper, and most importantly, safe form.
You're gonna wanna stay tuned for those, especially if you want to increase your strength and your ability to burn fat ROUND THE CLOCK.
If you can't wait for those videos, then the rule of thumb is:
KEEP EVERYTHING TIGHT.
EVERYTHING.
Even your butt cheeks aka your gluteus maximus/ medius. Just keep the whole butt cheek area tight, okay?
Keep your abs nice and braced. By braced, I mean that you want to act as if your about to be punched in the stomach and you're bracing for impact.
When you watch the video and see the demonstration, you'll have a clearer picture and you'll be well on your way to developing awesome strength and physical power.
Make sure that you do 3- 5 reps in the beginning, to help your nervous system adjust to the exercise.
And make sure that you take a 3- 5 minute break in between sets, to help your nervous system readjust and recover for the next set.
Take Care,
Amir
PS. I'm not sure whether or not I want to upload the videos to Youtube or my FaceBook page, but I'm certain that the videos will be uploaded in the next few days, so get ready for some PULLUP MADNESS!!!!!MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
On this day, we normally take this time to spend time with our families and we all gather around and express what we are thankful for in our lives.
No matter how "small" your blessings may appear to be, they are blessings nonetheless.
I know what i'm thankful for. What are YOU thanful for?
What things are in your life right now that allow you to live a little bit easier?
Are you thankful for your job/ career?
If so, what specifically is awesome about it?
Whatever it is, express your gratitude that you are able to experience it right now, no matter what it may be.
Alhough...
There are some things that might be better left unspoken... or spoken to right people i.e a very frisky girlfriend.
However...
If you don't care what other people think about you, then go ahead and express your gratitude for that frisky person!!!!
Many people don't realize this yet, however, there is no such thing as a "small" blessing. There are things we have right now, and things we have yet to experience and have.
You either have a place to live or you don't.
You either have a warm house or you don't.
But you can still appreicate your cold house, because at least you have a house!!!!
Do you see where this is going yet?
What things in your life are you thankful for right now?
Sincerely,
Amir Campbell

Did you notice how....
Everyone is a center of activity.
We effect everyone that comes into our field of influence whether we realize it or not.
When you stop and really think about it, i think you'll realize that it makes sense, doesn't it?
The question is this:
What kind of center are YOU?
Some people are energetic and bursting at the seams with energy.
Some people are calm and relaxed.
Some people are somewhere in between.
Some people are energetic or calm, depending on the circumstances and environment.
Which are you, and in what circumstances/contexts?
This is VERY important because when you truly understand yourself on a deeper level, you automatically know what types of careers will suite you the best and allow you to be the best person you can be.
Doesn't it seem like something that you want to take the time and figure out?
There are lots of good books on the subject.
Your life will thank you:)

You are a unique and special snowflake....
When it comes to fitness of course.
Everyone has an inborn capacity to easily perform different types of work, in terms of exercise.
Sme people are born with the ability to demonstrtae enormous physical strength (anaerobic fitness).
Some people are born wit the capacity to easily run long distances(aerobic fitness)
Scientists have discovered that everyone's body is born with a certain number of a certain type of muscle fibers called Slow twich and Fast Twitch fibers.
Slow twitch fibers are capable of long periods of contraction, so they are designed for endurance.
Fast twitch fibers are designed to contract quickly, allowing you to generate power quickly, hence the name. They are designed for power.
Even though this information by itself is FASCINATING, there's something even more incredible in regards to the above:
You have the ability to condition your muscles to be either fast twitch(power) or slow twitch(endurance).
Before we go into more detail with this, I want you to ask yourself a very important question:
Which do YOU find easier to perform: Pushups or Running?
Really think about that question and Pay Close attention to the answer that comes up.
Which activities are easier for you to do?
Chances are that the activities you find easiest are indicative of the types of muscle fibers that your body may consist of predominantly. In other words...
You may have more Fast Twitch/Slow Twitch muscle fibers.
As an interesting aside, Russian and Scandinavian Scientists have analyzed the ratio of fast twithc fibers and slow twicth fibers in muscle samples from young potential athletes to determine the types of sports in which they are predisposed to succeed. If there are more fast twitch fibers, they are guided to train for short "burst of energy" events like sprinting.
If they have more slow twitch fibers, they train for endurance activities like the 5,000 meter dash. As a result of these analysis techniques, many youuths have been guided into sports in which they indeed become world class athletes.
I've never had a muscle sample test done on myself, but I imagine it to be painful, as I can't see any other way to get a sample of your muscle tissue besidees cutting it out.
Now...
You may be asking yourself:
"What does all this nonsense about fast twitch and slow twitch fibers have to do with staying in shape?"
Well...
Think about it for a a moment.....
Doesn't it make sense that you want to do the activities that you find EASY and NATURAL to stay fit and healthy?
Unless you are an competitive athlete or training for a marathon, then I can see no reason to condition your muscles to be fast twitch or slow twitch.
If you agree or disagree with me, then leave a comment and let me know.
In short....
Do what you love and health and vitality will follow:)
Sincerely,
Amir Campbell

"Why won't they Believe me!!!!!!!"
When I tell people that I'm Certifed Personal Trainer, the most common response is this:
"You don't even look like a Personal Trainer. You're so small..."
At first, I was a little insulted. It also got me thinking as to why my size matters when people here what I do.
The first thing that came to mind was MEDIA. When people hear those words, Personal Trainer, they AUTOMATICALLY think of some big, buff guy who can lift a mountain and run 900 miles in a minute.
That's fine. But here's the thing....
Everyone has their own FITNESS GOALS and they train their body in the best way to meet those goals.
My concern isn't how big my muscles are. My main concern is that they will allow me to perform the ACTIVITIES that I LIKE doing, as long as I like doing them. When I really stop and think about it, there's only ONE activity that I want to repeat over and over and over and repeatedly.
My main concern is that i'm able to move easily and quickly. I don't want to carry around anything that i don't need to carry. Many people fail to REALIZE that Muscle weights more than Fat.
You can be 190 pounds, consisting of mainly lean tissue, or...
You can BE 190 pounds, consisting mainly of fat.
A person can be overweight and have lots of muscle.
Overweight is overweight.
Some people love lifting weights and building more muscle, and if that THEIR fitness goal, then that's fine.
The question I ask them is this:
Why do you think it's important to build more muscle?
The answers vary. Of course they will, because people vary.
I train for endurance, because i'm a mover, and i like being able to move around freely and change direction as I please. I'm at a comfortable weight for me and my strength is awesome. That's my only concern.
Now...
What's the point of this "rant"?
The point is that I believe that a person must choose Fitness Goals that will alow them to live life they wan to live it.
Are you very active right now? Then make your fitness goal compliment your current lifestyle.
My own fitness goals take into consideration the tpe of man I want to be when I'm a bit older ad more experienced:
I want to be active and fit.
I want my joints be in perfect working order.
I want to be flexible and STRONG.
I want lots of stamina and energy.
My current workout routine is designed to help me establish those habits and behaviors that I'll need to achieve my outcomes.
Wha Kind of Man/woman do you want to be when you're a little bit older? What types of htings do you want to be doing?
Really STOP and think about That...
Think about the long terms...
Just act as if you're going to live a long and productive life.
What kinds of things do you want to be doing?
In my opinion, A fitness goal should involve more detail than "want to lose 10 pounds in 2 months"...
Sincerely,
Amir Campbell

Treadmill Vs. Outdoors
If you're on the East Coast, Like Me, then you're all excited because pretty soon you'll LITERALLY be up to your ass in snow and ice. Yay!!!
If you're on the West Coast: Enjoy your paradise like weather and hot chicks running on the beach ALL YEAR LONG.... Suckers... lol
Anyway...
If you're a avid walker or runner, then you may have your preferencesi n regards to the venue you choose to do these respective events.
In other words...
You either enjoy running indoors (treadmill, indoor track) or outdoors ( forests, trails) and that's perfectly fine. We're all different and we like what we like, right?
I've never been much of an indoor runner so naturally, I prefer to be outdoors where i can experience life and the things going around me. I find that running or walking outdoors trains me to be alert and be aware. When you're jogging in the woods and you don't know what the hell might be around that bend, you AUTOMATICALLY slow down a bit... and you prepare to move your body in accordance to what you come across.
You either stop completely( to prevent yourself from running into that woman walking her baby( been there, done that) or you speed when you look and see that nobody is there.
I've run on tracks before and for me it's absolutely boring. You're running in a circle and it becomes easy to Fall Into a Trance, because you don't have to worry too much about runing into weird objects or people. You relax a little...
However...
I find that even running in the great, wide open, you can easily allow yourself to fall into a trance.... because there are stretches of space in which you are going straight ahead with no twists...no turns...
When I'm on a BOORRRIIINNNGGG stretch like that, it EASY for my mind to wander to conversations of yesterday and fond memories ( Sweet, Sweet R, where for art thou... Call me...) and conversations that I plan on having with people, and the possibilities I have yet to explore.
How do you remedy this type of running situation?
If you have A MP3 player, then bring it along. Put loads of songs that get ypu energized and pumped on it. You can even put some self improvement tracks on your mp3 player so that as you run, you can learn a little bit.
If you're one of those people that likes to run to clear your mind, let me share this little bit of knowledge i've learned in my LONG 27 years of life here on this planet:
You can Clear Your Mind all you want, but your mind, which is sort of like a cup or some sort of vessel, will be filled again....
The question is:
What do YOU want to fill your mind with?
Choose wisely.
Now...
Which type of environment is THE BEST for your running and walking activities?
They both have their Pros and Cons, and The only way to find the type of environs that work for YOU is to EXPERIMENT.
However...
Keep in mind that Both types of settings havet heir advantages, and depending on your current emotional state, you will choose which venue FEELS RIGHT to you.
Just listen to your body and act on what you FEEL.
Thanks for listening and you're going to want to stay tuned because there's more where that came from.
Sincerely,
Amir

Are you looking for ways to stay fit during the winter months?
Autumn is here, followed closely by winter time:)
While summertime is the summertime for most people...
Winter is my summertime:)
I noticed that everyone isn't like me however....
Winter is that time of year where for some reason, probably due to the shorter days and longer nights, people just want to SLEEP.
And eat really good food:)
That's cool, because that's my full time occupation in the winter...:)
Do you remember what it was like when you were a kid and you loved being otuside in the winter?
Have you ever played football in the wintertime? It's the time of year where you can really POP the @#@^ out of someone and not care where they land, because they land in snow, of the clean white stuff... or the @#$@ piss yellow variety:)
I remember when my friends and i would bundle up and stay out side as long as possible...
We built snow forts and we actually camped out inside them.
Can you rememebr the things you used to do with YOUR friends when the snow covered the ground and looked like it fell upwards?
When's the last time you squatted down and grabbed a hand full of cold, soft snow, formed it into a ball and let your friend's have it?
This winter, consider acting like a kid and get outside for a bit.
Jump around in the snow.
Go sledding with some freinds and family.
Go for a short walk around your neighborhood.
Walk your dog in the snow and noice how much fun they have outside..
Speaking of dogs...
Have you ever noticed how much fun they seem to have playing in the snow?
What would it be like if you could have THAT MUCH FUN being outside in the winter?
Remember, just because it's winter that doesn;t mean that there aren;t daylight hours. The sun might be covered by the thick, snow clouds, however...
Always remember...
It's still there, shining as brightly as ever.
Even if you can't see the sun...
Just act AS IF it's right there.
If you usually use a snowblower, talk to your doctor and see how he/she feels about you shoveling a little bit.
Remember....
Before any physical activity, you need to warm up properly to get the blood pumping through your muscles and extremities( all of them:)
Have fun this winter:)

What if....
What if everything you THOUGHT was true was actually a lie?
What if water filters don't actually filter the tap water you're drinking, but instead, the people that create them TELL you that they filter out the nasty crap, knowing full well that you'd never drink it in a million years if they didn't tell that their product filtered the water?
Things that make you go hmmm....
Makes you WONDER how much stuff they say is true, but actually isn't...
Thoughts have a powerful influence on our bodies.
Ever hear the story about the guy who FROZE TO DEATH while trapped in a BROKEN FREEZER?
Yeah, I know.... Read that again...
The poor guy froze to death while inside a freezer that hadn't worked in years...
His imagination caused his body to act AS IF the freezer was still operating, and responded by producing cold in his body.
We as people tend to act based on what we think, or in some cases, what others tell us.
You need to use your own eyes and ears.
How many times have you heard a person make a decision based on what someone else told them, even though the information given to them wasn't completely factual?
Can you remember a time when you've done that?
I can remember times when I've done that.
It sucks to tell your boss that you acted on information that wasn't factual and said act could cost you your job.
Pay attention to your senses!!!
That's what they are there for!!!!
Use them!!!!
Have fun

What's YOUR idea of....
Health?
Wealth?
Love?
Compassion?
Beauty?
FUN?
The sooner you figure these things out, the sooner you can start to live the life you truly want to live, not the life you NEED to live.
See the difference?
The sooner you SIT DOWN and THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS, the sooner you get the answers you need, and so on, and so forth...
Would rather take the time to firgure all this stuff out RIGHT NOW...
Or..
Would you rather learn these things the UNDESIRABLE way aka the HARD WAY?
The hard way ie through experience, is good, but...
Why do it the HARD WAY when you can do it the easy way, right?
Blood, sweat and tears...
Or
Laughs and Smiles...
You choose.
Have fun Learning about yourself:)

Realize the power you have in this moment...
The power to CHOOSE.
The power to stay where you are....
The power go get what you want...
The power to leave any situation that doesn't feel good...
Stay or Go...
Lay Or Grow...
You have that power...
Right Now...
Make the choice.

Life is mostly a waiting game...
The one that can outlast everyone else is usually the one that wins the prize...
The person who keeps going when everyone else is shouting at them to STOP is the person gets what they want...
The person who can keep their eye on the finish line (goal) when everything around seems to be opposed to it is the one who gets it...
The one who can replace the voices of doubt and fear with encouragement and anticipation is the one who will live to see their plans fulfilled...
The one who can Keep their feet in the present while keeping the mind on the target is the man who gets what he wants...
Now...
The question is...
Can you be that man or woman?
Can you become aware of your excuses and ignore them, and then go for what you want?
If you're thinking that you can't, then think about this long and hard:
While you're making excuses, someone is out there doing exactly what you THINK you can't do...

Does your current level of maturity influence the places you feel you want to be?
Are you feeling yourself DRAWN to a particular locale or environment these days?
They say home is where the heart is.
Maybe your heart lies in..
CHINA?
or
France?
OR
London?
You may live in California, but some reason you can't YET explain, Australia is calling out to you.
What do you do when you feel the PULL of a distant land tugging at you, popping up in your daydreams?
Most people ignore that PULL...
And..
You have some brave souls that FEEL THAT PULL and choose to follow it where it leads them.
Which one are you?

"You don't know me YET..."
Meeting new people can be a challenging... challenge for some people.
However...
You need to realize something VERY IMPORTANT if you want to make all the friends that your cell phone can store...
Your Current Friends Were once Strangers to you, and you to them!!!!
You didn't know them like you know them now, and they didn't know you like they now know you...
Now....
What if you were to say this to yourself anytime you were ready to walk up to a complete "stranger" and make a comment about something going on in the environment you happen to find yourself?
How much easier would it be to walk over tot that person and say what COMES TO MIND?
STOP for a moment and THINK ABOUT THIS...
What is it about your friends that caused you talk to them in first place?
What did you see?
What did you hear?
What did you Feel?
Don't you think it's possible that there are an INFINITE number of people in the world that have the SAME EXACT characteristics as the friends that you have RIGHT NOW?
Now...
Here's the most important thing that you need to KEEP IN MIND...
Are you ready to increase the number of acquaintances you have RIGHT NOW?
Do you really want more friends?
Can you IMAGINE how your life would be if you were to have 5 more friends than you have right now? Can you really STOP and IMAGINE what that would be like....
Can you imagine how much more fun you'll have when you start to talk to the "Strangers" around ( the none dangerous ones, of course...lol)
Stranger = A person that you have taken the time to get to know more intimately.
I know it's a bit of a stretch for most of you, and when you think about people LIKE THIS, then you'll notice how your perception of the people around starts to change.
Have fun making new friends:)

Is it better to...
These are eternal questions, meaning that years from now, when I'm dead and gone and this webpage is long forgotten, someone looking for something... will stumble on it and ask themselves these questions, and that part of themselves that knows everything will give them the right answer for them...
Is it better to tell someone how you really feel or is it better to tell them what they want to hear?
In order to answer that question you have to ask yourself THIS question:
"Do I CARE how this person feels about me?" OR " Will this person' perception of me impact my life in any major way?"
They are two very POWERFUL questions, and when you ask yourself them, the answers can quite literally change your life FOREVER.
Another related question, which may be more important than the previous two is this:
"Whose opinion matters to me the MOST?"
Again, the answers can have profound impact on your life as it is now. It may change for the better, or it may change for the worse. The important thing to realize here is just ASKing yourself these questions, even if it it's just mentally (internally), will provide you an ANSWER.
The thing about questions is...
We don't like to ask certain questions because we don't want to know the answer. We THINK we want to know, but upon knowing, we wish we didn't know what we know now.
Got that yet? If not, go back and reread the above. It's very important to understand what i'm saying.
Have you ever asked a question and DEMANDED to know the answer, only to wish you never knew it after you asked it?
Why is that we do that?
What do you do with the answer once you ask the question?
Like Jack Nicholson said: " You can't handle the truth!!!"
Let's update that a bit, shall we?
"Don't ask the question if your not READY to handle the truth."
I like that much better, don't you?
Now...
What questions are you wanting answers to? Are you ready to handle the truth? Are you absolutely CERTAIN? What would have to happen for you to become ready to handle the answers you get? How will your life change when you have your answers?
Questions, Questions, Questions...
Curiouser and Curiouser...
NOW...
Back to the original reason for this post:
Is it better to tell someone how you REALLY feel, or it better to them what you THINK will make them feel better?
As I said before, these are ETERNAL, TIMELESS, EVERLASTING questions, so when I'm long gone and experiencing UNIMAGINABLE pleasures to Thongita heaven, people can still come here and answer these question for themselves.
Can you imagine having the answer to every question that you have YET to ask yourself? How good what that make you feel?
Can you find the strength in yourself to handle the truth?
Can you ask yourself those questions that people are afraid to find out the answers to?
Have you ever heard the saying: " The only stupid question is the one that you don't ask..."
WHAT IF...
The universe has a reward in store for the person whose brave enough to ask those questions that know one else wants too answer...
Good night:)
Is it better to tell someone how you really feel or is it better to tell them what they want to hear?

QUOTE OF THE DAY!!!
"When Alcohol flows in, emotions flow out..."
Andrew Salter, " Conditioned Reflex Therapy"
I read that quote today and I had to share it. It makes sense, when you stop and think about it. When most people have drink or two, they start to become relaxed and they say things that they normally wouldn't say.
Science has proven that alcohol helps decrease our inhibitions. In other words, alcohol tends to promote activities that we wouldn't do if we were sober.
My nephew has a really neat saying that makes sense when I look back on those times when I got really sauced:
"Drunk words are Sober Thoughts..."
Can you remember(partially at least) a time when you were REALLY drunk and you did something while you were drunk and you regretted doing it...or them? I'm sure you can vaguely remember a time like that right now...
Alcohol in moderation is actually a good thing. EVERYTHING in moderation is a okay. Chocolate in moderation is okay. The key is to realize when you've had enough and to know when it's time to put the twinkie down...
The next time you get extremely drunk... you're going to remember what you've read here, and as you're in the process of doing something that you know you'll regret in the morning... you'll say to yourself:
"Man, Amir was right... I know i'm gonna regret this, but.. who gives a @#@$%!"
Here's something neat you can do:
BEFORE you get drunk, tell yourself that your going to allow yourself to relax and have fun. Tell yourself to let loose and trust your feelings. Notice what happens the next day.
Sometimes, Our conscious mind can be too restrictive in what it allows us to do...or not do. A little alcohol can literally loosen the tongue and you'll find yourself saying things that you inhibit yourself from saying when you're sober, for whatever reason. As your sitting there, drinking your beer or whatever spirits you imbibe, imagine all the fun you're going to have tonight.
Have fun this weekend... I know I will....:)

When it comes to exercise...
LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!!
We all know bye now that exercise is necessary to a life filled with energy and vitality.
However...
The word "exercise" seems to elicit various images and emotional reactions in people. Some good, some bad.
I say, let's break down what "exercise" really means, okay?
In order to do this, we have to take a look at what happens when we "exercise". We're usually moving around and breathing harder and faster when we exercise, right?
I know I can think of at least one activity that I really enjoy that get's me breathing harder and faster... and it's even more fun when you do it with a group of people...
Well, STOP and think about this for a moment...
Have you ever noticed how your breathing changes when your doing something you enjoy?
Have you noticed how you feel INSIDE when your doing something that you really enjoy doing?
Does exercise really need to make you sore and cause you to limp around in pain for a few days? I personally don't think so at all.
What would happen if FROM THIS MOMENT ONWARD, you start to think of exercise as merely being ACTIVITY, movement. When you look at like this, what kinds of activities can you do that will allow you to move around AND have fun?
While we're on the subject, Let's do something about the word "diet". That word brings to mind all sorts of mental pictures and emotional reactions.
For those people that have constantly gone back and forth with many "diets", there's a certain emotional reaction.
For the first time dieter, there's a certain emotional reaction. Can you guess which group experiences which emotional reaction? If you think you know the answer, then leave a comment and let me know what you think. I'd love to have some feedback here:)
Instead of Dieting, Wouldn't it be much better when you start to speak in terms of eating habits? After all, when you really STOP and THINK ABOUT IT, isn't a diet basically what we call it when a person changes their eating habits? Change your eating habits and you change your body and energy levels for the better. Sounds good? Good.
Anyway...
When it comes to ACTIVITY, listen to your body and do what feels good to YOU. It is absolutely possible to do some sort of activity everyday. The key to consistency is to listen to your body and plan your activity according to the way your body FEELS.
I LOVE lifting weights, HOWEVER, there are some days when i just feel like lying on the floor and stretching out those tight muscles.. allowing that tension to just melt away...allow those feelings of warmth and relaxation to flow wherever they want to...
And then there are those days when I feel like sprinting, so I take my ass to the woods and I sprint as if there's a school bus full of College cheerleaders...
It's all about paying attention to the way you FEEL and then acting accordingly.
One thing that really helps me focus in on what activity to do is to ask myself " what do I feel like doing right now?"
The answer I get is the activity I do.
If you feel like anything I said makes perfect sense to you, then feel free to go back up, print out this blog, and underline anything that you find helpful.
One very helpful thing to do is to pay attention to the way you feel BEFORE and AFTER an activity. When you notice how you feel BEFORE, then you have a baseline with which to compare how you feel AFTER the activity. If you feel better AFTER the activity than you did BEFORE, then that's generally good.
If you feel worse AFTER than you did BEFORE you performed the activity, then you need to do some resorting and some contemplation to come up with new activities to do.
If all else fails, then get out of the house and GO GET LAID(Use protection). It's the most fun activity I can think and It's the perfect combination of aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, and the release of feel good chemicals is so ADDICTING that you may just find yourself in awesome shape almost overnight!!! However, sex, like anything else, requires CONSTANT REPETITION before you will see results, and..
There's an extremely low drop out rate as well...:) Those who do drop out probably do so because they don't want to get into shape too fast...:)
Anyway...
Take Care,

"Why did I eat that?"
Most common answer...
"Because it was the only thing in the house!!!"
I was sitting on the couch watching "Twilight" for the 50th !@#$%ing time with my nieces, and I got a small case of the munchies.
For some odd reason, I felt COMPELLED to reach for the open bag of Lay's chips that we have lying around here. As soon as I looked at the bag, I felt the craving inside of me... Sometimes I feel like my appetite is like a Hungry, Ravenous wolf... and My conscious mind.... the part of me that knows better... the part of me that knows that this isn't healthy.... the part of me that is normally in complete control... loses it's grip for one instant and....
GULP!!!
I've gone through 3 0r 4 handfuls of Lay's, and my lips and hands are greasy, and consequently, my shirt and pants follow suit ( Remember, I'm still a guy, so I'm entitled by the forces of the universe to be sloppy...)
Have you ever felt compelled to eat something that you KNOW you shouldn't eat.... I think we all have that one food that sort of MAKES YOU HUNGRY when you LOOK at it... It's like, you're looking at that one food, and all of a sudden, you find yourself salivating uncontrollably... and the more you resist the urge to dig and enjoy, the more you find yourself CRAVING this food....
NOW....
What can we do about that?
One thing that helps is to realize that it's okay to eat certain things in moderation. If you want some fries, go ahead and eat them, and pay attention to how much you eat.
One other thing that can help is to REALIZE that you crave those so called " dangerous foods" because of the fat content. It's the fat in foods that gives it that creamy... delicious texture. Fat is satisfying, so we naturally want to eat it. That's one of the reasons why we like ice cream so much, because of the RICH, CREAMY feeling we get from eating. Fat floats when it gets into your stomach, and is the last thing to be digested.
Another that really helps is to STOP... and take a few deep breaths... in through the nose.... and out through the mouth, about 5 or 6 times. This will help you clear your mind and give you the willpower to MAKE A BETTER CHOICE. in the food you eat.
One thing that really helps is when you BECOME AWARE of the fact that many times when you THINK you are hungry, your body is actually telling you that YOUR THIRSTY.
So...
The next time you feel a uncontrollable urge to eat that food that you KNOW you shouldn't eat, keep in mind your fitness goals and ASK YOURSELF:
"Is this going to help me become fitter, leaner, and stronger?"
If the answer is no, then ASK YOURSELF:
"What else can I eat that is healthy and will help me become fitter and leaner?"
Listen closely to the answers you get and take action on them. If you have to HOP IN THE CAR and go to the grocery store, then so be it. What's more important: The gas your going to put into your car or.... The gas your going to put into your body?
NOW...
Another thing that you want to pay attention to is portion sizes and their effect on your ability to function properly. Are there certain foods that cause you to feel sluggish or sleepy AFTER you eat them? Do you notice this sluggish FEELING after eating a meal of a certain size?
If you notice that you feel sleepy after a meal, notice the portion size and make adjustments. Reduce and increase the portion sizes of each macro nutrient(Protein, carbs, Fats) until you find the right portion size for YOU.
Good health and consistently high energy levels are mainly dependent on knowing what foods energize you, make you feel sleepy, in what quantity they make you feel sleepy or energized, and portion size. It's also a matter of experience and experimentation.
I have a friend that gets sleepy everytime he eats a meal that he considers heavy. That's so not cool when you have to travel 20 miles back and forth to turn people's electricity on/off.
When you understand what makes your body feel energized and what doesn't, then you move one step closer to unlimited energy and vitality.

"old" people as a wellspring of knowledge and Wisdom
That word... "old"... I've never really liked that word because it's so limiting and there are so many labels attached.
"old" usually means "worn out" for some people. It's usually associated being no longer fun ie " This is getting really OLD..."
Have you ever said a word OUT LOUD so many times that it seemed to lose all meaning?
We need to do that with this word here.
Now...
I truly believe that this it's all dependant on your state of mind and your attitudes towarda aging. We all will age. It's inevitable. But I believe that just because we AGE, it doesn't necessarily mean that we have to be old.
There are 79 year "OLDS" that jog DAILY. DAILY!!!! Sometimes I find it hard to jog twice a week, if I'm Lucky. Now, whose "old"?!?!?!
If you haven't realized it yet, you need to understand that so called "OLD" have an ASTONISHING amount of experience to share with everyone. They've seen and done things that some of probably only dream about. Now... the question is... how can we gain access to that AMAZING wellspring of information??
Well...
Maybe we can ASK THEM!!!!
If you have a burning question and you want an answer, then find someone that looks experienced and pose your question to them, and ask them how they would go about it. If your lucky, they'll share with you a neat story.
Hey, you'll be giving them something as well: You'll be helping them to remember something that was long ago forgotten and might have been treasured memory for them. Treasured memories are a part of what makes like worth living.
How many memories do you have that make you smile when you sit down and think about them?
Have fun,

A simple way to tell if Your working your Dream Job....
If you find yourself bored at work, then it's probably not you're ideal job, the job that you dream about working when your working where your working right now. Understand???

If there was a way to combine all these things that I like, how would i do that?
Believe me, you'll ge tan answer very shortly. It may come to you at work (haha) or it may come to you in the middle of the night, or it may even come to you in the middle of ....extracurricular activities, if you catch me drift...

The Secret To Eternal Youth
It's something I stumbled upon many years ago... I wasn't looking for it, I just sort of "found" it... Or more accurately.. It "found" me...
Here's the Secret... I'll do my part and share it with the world... Get ready for it... because you HAVE HAD THE ANSWER YOUR ENTIRE LIFE and you weren't even aware of it...
If you're keen, then you'll find that the answer lies in the age old question itself:
"What's the secret to eternal youth?"
If you haven't figured it out yet, then I'll save you the effort of thinking through this problem:
The Secret to Eternal Youth is to...
Stay Young Forever!!!!
The answer is right here!!! If you want to be young for as long as you live, copy the "young" people, or more specifically, copy the people that DO WHAT THEY LOVE, no matter what anyone else thinks or says.
When it comes down to it, happiness is the key ingredient for a life bursting with vigor and energy. Do what you like and happiness will follow.
I'm sure you have loads of people you can emulate, people within your own social circle(s) that are always happy. If you STOP... and think about it for a moment... Can you think of one person that sticks out in your mind whose ALWAYS happy?
How easy would it be for you to PICK UP THE PHONE, start a conversation, and ask them why they are always happy?
Happiness plays a major role in the way we perceive the events that occur in our life. When you view a certain event through the lens of a "oh well, it's just a bump in the road, I'll find a way through it..." lens, then life is a little bit more bearable.
I realize that it's hard to do that... HOWEVER... It can be done and you can learn to develop a habit of viewing life as a "glass half full" sort of thing.
There's a really good book called " the promise of energy psychology" By David Feinstein, which has much good information on how you can learn to see life in a more positive manner.
Happiness is perspective, for the most part. There are people with houses filled to he brim with money and all the best technology can buy.... HOWEVER... In most cases, they tend not to be happy. Now, I'm not saying that money doesn't buy happiness. I don't know about you, but I love money. Money allows me to take care of my family and have lots of good times with friends and family, and those friends I have yet to meet and make.
There are people who are DIRT POOR who always have smile on their face. Why? Because they are happy to be alive. They are happy to breathe freely.
Everyone has their own Idea of happiness, or their own criteria for what makes them happy.
What's YOUR criteria for HAPPINESS?
What does HAPPINESS mean to YOU?
Get out a piece of paper and write it out, and then when you finish writing everything down, take a look at what you wrote. Does it "sound" right to you? If it doesn't, then do the exercise again.
What things can you do RIGHT NOW to make yourself FEEL HAPPY?
When you can think of one thing that really gets you moving inside, then GET UP and GO DO IT.
The only one responsible for YOUR HAPPINESS is... You guessed it.... ME!!!
Just Kidding:) It's YOU. You have complete control over yourself and your reactions.
Have Fun:)

Have Fun:)

You'll never know until you ask...
Have you ever seen a really hot girl and wanted to go up her and talk with her?
Have you ever passed up a chance to meet a extremely hot chick, only to ounch yourself later on for not talking to her?
Here's the thing: You can't tell exactly how a woman will respond to you until you TALK TO HER.
If I were to ask you about your perfect lover, what types of atrributes and qualities would you describe to me? What types of things does this person do? Are they fit/active? Are they intelligent? Do they love their job? Are they passionate?
Here's the thing with that: That girl you that you noticed earlier but didn't walk over to and talk with, might have been that perfect girl you have in your mind( let's be honest, nobody is perfect, however, they might come extremely close to what you look for in a woman/man).
Never judge a book by it's cover; you have to open it to look inside and see if the content is what you're looking for.
If your truly looking for someone to spend time with and be inimate with and do all types of fun things together, then act like it. If you see someone approaching you and they seem like they might be your type, then look them right in the eye and SMILE. Notice how they respond.
It occurs to me that people tend to say they want one thing and then do another thing. For instance, I know many guys/girls that SAY thatt hey want to meet someone special, someone that they can be with in that...special way, HOWEVER, they rarely take the steps to meet that special someone. They pass people by one the street and don't JUMP ON THE OPPORTUNITY to meet them, and then later that night, they're mad at themselves for not talking to that person.
Has that ever happened to you or anyone you know...
There's something very... MAGICAL about eye contact, wouldn't you say? When two people lock eyes, something happens. There's a CONNECTION that's formed. I'm sure you can remember a time when you've locked with a person and felt a CONNECTION with this person, even though you didn't even know each other's names at the time.
The next time you see someone that you find attractive, walk over to them and say something. ANYTHING. It doesn't matter. Most people are naturally friendly, and when you talk to them, they'll open up and be friendly and talk with you.
Have you ever had a total stranger come up to you and start a conversation, and suddenly, you found yourself talking and laughing with this stanger, and maybe you started to feel comfortable with this person...
Life is funny thay way.
Don't wait for you true love to pick you up and sweep you away to some private island. Walk up to them and make the first move.
The worst that can happen: They aren'y friendly and you learn that they are the person for you. So now what?
You find sombody else.
Love is a numbers game. The odds will grow in your favor when you approach more and more people.
Go out and have fun:)

No matter where you go....
I've been thinkng lately( as you have been, i'm absolutely shore...)....
Sometimes, the reality of things seems to SLAP you across the face, or even fall on you like a ton of bricks or some other heavy mass:
No matter where you go in the world, certain things are UNIVERSAL:
1) There are lonely people everywhere
2) No matter how many fancy words and language patterns you use to cover something up, CRAP IS CRAP. PERIOD.
3) There are lazy people everywhere, who choose to do nothing productive with their time.
4) There are those people who, despite their current circumstances, choose to experience the life that they CHOOSE. These people have the tenacity and the hunger to experience those circumstances, so they have a source of energy backing them to "push" them toward that experience.
5) As long as you have the ability to learn, you have the ability to grow, and consequently, increase your value to yourself and to others. You also increase your potential earning power.
6) When you truly understand yourself, your motivations for the things you do, then you will understand humanity, those that live now, and those that have lived before.
7) As long as you have a clear intention and a desired outcome(endgame) in mind, things will fall into place. You have to know exactl where you're going and why you want go there.
8) Everyone is walking around inside of ther own little universe. Amazing, that a place so relatively small as earth can safely contain over 6 billion(and counting) egos..
9) Incompetence is everywhere, even in europe.
My questions to you are:
What is it that you want, and why do you want it?
More universal truths to follow. Stay tuned, or better yet, share some your truths with us here.
Thanks,
Amir

CHEAP, and EASY....
It's summertime and the sun is shining, the children are out running around in traffic....
Adorable little scamps...
Anyway, As I was mowing my lawn under the high noon sun, it occurred to me that it can be a very cost effective(free) way to get into shape fast.
You can get excellent anaerobic exercise for your chest, triceps, biceps, forearms and legs.
If you squeeze the bar as you psuh your mower along for a few seconds, you utilize the aforementioned muscles. You can squeeze for 3 seconds, then relax for a few seconds as you exhale, and repeat as long as you want.
If you keep your abs tight, you can also get some abdominal training.
Remember to breathe deeply as you mow, since oxygen is necessary for using fat as fuel.
As a added bonus, you get plenty of sunshine, so your body can synthesize Vitamin D, plus you get to check out all the hot chicks/guys walking by!!! It's a win/win for everyine, even the grass!!!
Make sure you drink plenty of water, especially if it's really hot outside.
Most importantly, have lots of fun!!!

Life is too short....
The sooner you realize that, the sooner you can start to enjoy life and enjoy the people that you love and care for.
If you were to stop for a moment and think of the people who are important to you in life, how clearly can you see their faces?
Now...
To get straight to the point, i'm saying that we need to realize that life is not a spectator sport. Or life is a spectator sport. It depends on you.
Will you sit back and watch opportunity after opportunity pass you by, only to be snatched up the brave soul who was ready to take it?
Or are you going to be the person who knows what they want, and you go for it, and you don't give a rat's ass what anyone thinks or says?
Which person will you choose to be?
One of the most important things that i can remebering learnig about is this very important distinction used in NLP(neurolinguistic programming):
There's no such thing as failire, only feedback.
Small statement, big results.
Go out and get some feedback:)
Have fun,
Amir

Don't focus on "losing weight"...
Focus on being active and having fun, and the weight will magically come off.
Too many people are focused on losing weight, but too few truly understand that losing weight is the end result of activity. Isn't it so much the better when you're having lots of fun?
Here, in america, we tend to take the weight that seems naturally, namely liposuction and diet pills. That's perfectly fine because those people that use those are getting exactly what they want: They are losing the wait....
But what happens when the pills stop working for you? Naturally, you want to find a nother weigh to lose the wait.
I can agree with the need to take care of oneself and have a attractive body. My point is that when you start to focus on being more active, you'll find that the weight will melt off.
We human beings were built fo movement and activity. Imagine how fit our ancestors might have been, with the demands that were placed on them on a daily basis. I'm not even talking about the running for your life from savage animals bit... They didn't have the benefit of the technology that we often take for granted.
Did you know that Alexander of Macedon lead his men through the frozen alps on his campaign to conquer the world? WOW!!!!
Anyway, focus on being more active and you'll experience the benefits.
Wlak whenever you can, so you can see the sights, and breathe deeply of the sunkissed fresh air. It's good for you, you know.
Take care have think about what i said here.

Love can be a phone call/text message/twitter/myspace/facebook away...
If you were to stop for a moment, and think about all the people that you hang out with on a regular basis, which of those people would you most likely end up in a relationship with?
I was walking home today from school today, since the weather was nice, and the sun was shining down his happy juice on everyone, and hot chicks were jogging all over the place...
It suddenly dawned on me that love could be literally staring you in the face this very moment, and you might not yet be aware of that.
I think it's funny how life works in that way, don't you?

Appreciate even the feelngs that suck...
Those feelings are good, because they show us what areas need our attention.
When you stop and think about it for a moment, doesn't it just make sense?
If there was a problem, then you wouldn't be feeling that way, now would you?
Everybody feels bad sometimes, and that's okay, but the important question that you need to ask yourself is this:
Why do i feel like this about xxx?
When we ask ourself questions, we will get answers.
Once you discover why you feel the way you feel about what you're feeling about.... You can ask yourself even better questions like:
What can i do to change this situation for the better?
The answers you get are usually good answers. You might get one answer. You might get one thousands answers. The neat part about it is that you have the opportunity to sit down... and pick out the answers that make sense to you.
Make sense?
I was just sitting here, feeling crappy all day, even though i could really figure out why: I'd exercised today and i got plenty of sunshine and i even got a chance to study some really interesting material, yet i felt like crap. I was feeling detached all day, like i couldn't feel anything. It was weird. I felt disconnected from people, even though i did have a interesting experience today.
Suddenly, my mom started talking about the pain involved in dental procedures, namely a root canal. As she was talking about the pain and reliving the experience, i could actually feel her pain. It felt like a electric shock at the base of my spine.
Have you ever seen something that looked so painful that you can actually feel the pain of the person involved?
It hurt me to listen almost as much as it hurt her to relive the experience in her mind. And just then, it occurred to me:
I could FEEL. It felt good to FEEL. After a long day of not feeling anything, being completely detached from feelings so to speak, it actually felt good to feel my mother's revivified pain.
On a deeper level, it made me feel as though i was still HUMAN. It made me realize that i still can connect with people and i can still feel things.
You might be asking yourself " what's your point, Amir?"
Here's my point:
Even the "bad" feelings are good, because they tell us that things aren't as they should be, or more specifically, as we would LIKE them to be.
The bad feelings might suck, but they make the awesome feelings even more awesome, wouldn't you agree?
The "sucky" feelings help us appreciate the awesome feelings.
The sucky feelings are like alert system, letting know that we might need to change some things.
The next time you feel sucky, run yourself a warm bath and sit in it and relax. Get out of the house if you can and find some new scenery. Get some exercise. Hey, you can even have a beer with some friends.
Hope this helps anyone,
Amir

What your absolute favorite shape and why do you like that particular shape so much?
I personally like the Lion shapes the mostm because they make me think of the ferocity and power of those beasts. Isn't interesting how something so small and tasty can bring those images to mind so easily?

what to do when you're bored
When you're bored, you should...
DO SOMETHING?
Yeah, i know it sounds really simple, and it really is as simple as it sounds.
Have you ever been so bored that you just sit there, looking into space, just sitting there and looking, your mind is seemingly blank...
That's our cue to find something else to occupy our attention.
Idle hands truly are the devil's playthings. You can get into trouble if you have nothing "better to do". You can also have lots of fun, if you know how.
How do you do that?
Well...
I usually ask myself:" What could i do right now that would be fun, or would make me feel good?"
Whatever answer pops up, i get up and i go do it. It's that simple.
What is it that you like to do that makes you feel all warm and tingly inside when you think about it now?
I'm sure you can easily think of that right now and see yourself doing, hear yourself doing, feel yourself doing it, right?
Now, i go into full detail on how to totally eliminate bordeom forever and increase your productivity beyond levels you can't yet imagine.
Does that sound like something that could serve you for the rest of your life?
Does that sound like something that you'd like to learn how to do it right now?

The only thing in life that truly sucks..
You can't stay in the shower FOREVER.
Have you ever gotten in the shower after a long hard day, and as you stand there, you can feel the heat from the warm water hitting your skin, and it feels really good.
The awesome thing about the shower is that longer you stay in there, the better it gets...
That feeling of relaxation grows as you close your eyes and think about whatever it is you normally think about while your in there.... Maybe you think back to the day you just had... or maybe you even think about what you're going to do this weekend..
The bathroom is now so foggy that you'd swear that someone left a window open and the fog mysteriously slipped in and invaded the bathroom....
Then, without warning... the unthinkable happens....
The hot water runs out!!! So you're standing there, fingers all wrinkled up like a pruney prune thing....
It just sucks:(
It's too bad someone has come up with a way to have that shower experience last forever...
Take heart people, because i'm working on it, and when i finally discover that secret, the world will be a better place, a happier more relaxed place.

"You'd make a awesome father:"
I hear this alot. I used to hate it. Nowaday,s however, whenever I don't here it, i'm frankly shocked and i wonder what the hell the problem is.
Iused to hear hating it because i always figured that a woman was calling "old", and i'm anything but. I'm a young straping lad, if i do say so myself. For some odd reason, i used to feel old hearing that.
The other night, as i was sitting in a hotle room in NYC at 5:00 in the morning with a really intelligent cutie and her bisexual friend who made it known that she planned to lure some some girls back to her room and show them her really neat adult toys, this compliment was given to me by the bisexual.
My first instinct was to cringe, because anyone whose "responsible" enough to be a father is a nice guy, and nice guys usually never get laid, if ever, through no fault of their own.
However, i realized in that moment as she stared at me with a little sparkle in her eye that it was a compliment. I realized in that moment that some part of her could sense that i had the qualities to FATHER A CHILD.
Men, if you're reading this, I want you to realize something very important: A man has the capacity to impregnate a incredible number of women, provided he's healthy, whereas a woman's capacity to bear children is limited, hence menopause.
Given this difference, women tend to be selective with those they choose to stick around and actually father the child. BIG DIFFERENCE. Impregnation vs. Fathering. Think about that when you get a chance to be alone, and i think you can see the difference.
There are woman out there who simply need a man to take care of the.... seed planting part of the arrangement. Once he digs a patch and drops 'em in, he can cover up the hole and be on his way for all she's concerned.
I never really sat down and though about it until recently. As i sat there, i looked back at all the time when a woman gave me that compliment, or even when a women asked me if i wanted kids or even to be married someday. Being the typical male, I would look confused and mentally think to myself:
"I really hope this chick isn't thinking we're gonna get married.."
Now, when i hear, i realize that she's thought about me and she's looked at me and she can see that i possess the qualities that these women look for in their ideal husband.
Guys, if you're listening, this is one of the highest compliments that a woman can ever pay a man, other than telling how awesome he is bed and proving it to him by showing him the soaked sheets...
If you're LIKE ME, a normally nice guy, then you might hear this alot, and if you're like i used to be, then you might feel weird. I'm hear to tell you that you should feel complimented, because that's what it is.
Not only that, but you also become aware of the fact that she does eventually want children and she does want to get married and you can decide what you want to do with that information.
Have fun having fun,
Amir

what would you do?
This morning, i woke up and found myself confronted with a moral dilemma... one of those agonizing questions that you mull over for what seems like eternity... I'm pretty sure you've experienced this before, haven't you?
I suppose we're all faced with those questions now and then throughout the course of our lives.... It's good mental exercise: " Do i take the red pill... or do i take the blue pill..."
Well...
Let me ask you this:
If you woke up tomorrow morning and you realized that something that you absolutely need to function properly in the day to day world, what would you do...?
I woke up this morning and found myself in that very situation....
I ONLY HAD ONE CLEAN SOCK!!!!
AAAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!!
And, to make matter worse, i had class and, on top of that, i had to wear my "extremely worn in" running shoes to class!!!! With one sock!!!!
So, you know what i did? I put on those freaking smelly shoes.... and i went to class... with one freaking sock!!!!
AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!
As i sat therei n class, listening to my cute professor( think Lois from "family guy"...) talk to us about diabetes and harping on the fact that our quizzes were HORRIBLE( She was pissed), all i could focus on was the feeling of my raw, clean, just washed foot, in that damp, smelly, extremely warm running shoe.
AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!
It was enlightening though, because i leaned some really neat stuff:
1) Humans can only focus on one thing at a time. While i was focusing on how cute and squinty my professors eyes get when she smiles, I wasn't noticing how rancid and defiled my foot was feeling...
It also brought up some very interesting questions in my mind:
1) How many things are there in existence that we are unaware, yet they didn't Exist" for us because we aren't yet aware of them? This goes for those feelings that you might be feeling yet you aren't aware of feeling them consciously. Make sense? Not yet?
I think dreams are our subconscious minds chance to make us aware of those feelings that we aren't feeling consciously.
Oh well....
Thanks for listening:)

If you're in New York City and you're not meeting women....
If you're here in the Big Apple and you're not having fun with the type of women that you want, then i think it's clearly obvious that you need to work on some things.
I've been here for four days now and let's just say that i've been having some very interesting encounters... not to mention tons of fun hanging out with my family and making new friends. That's the beauty of living life right now....
No matter where you are at this moment, you have the potential to meet and make all the friends and potential lovers that you can ever want.
In a big city like this, it's almost too easy to meet women, i find. Women here outnumber men 1 to 100. Do you understand what that means? Do you REALLY understand what that means for you? If not, i'll help you understand:
That means that for everyone one guy, namely YOU, there's 100 women... or more out there waiting to meet somebody. That somebody can be you.
Keep in mind that women are, for the most part, naturally friendly, outgoing, nurturing and caring. Many women are in fact open to meeting new people. This new guy can be YOU.
Oh yeah, one more thing: if you're not leaving your house, then you're going to have a hard time meeting and attracting women, unless you have some relationships in your life that you can expand upon and improve.
You could be the most buff, fit, G.I. Joe action figure, super model of a man, but if you're not leaving the house and putting yourself in a position to have women check you out, then meeting women will be extremely difficult, if not improbable.
You're sitting, you're reading this now, and I think you can look inside yourself and see that this makes perfect sense.
It's nice to be in shape and all, but it's even more awesome when you can take advantage of your physical fitness and have fun dancing with beautiful, fun loving, confident women.
If dancing isn't your thing, then you can just get out of your house and go have coffee. Get out and notice all the beauty that life has to offer.
Take Care,
Amir Campbell

Why life has so much to offer...and how you can see it
I've recently come to realize something about life:
Without a purpose or without a motivation, you simply go NOWHERE. Or worse, you end up somewhere you don't want to be.
You need a direction in life to keep you on course and out of trouble and lead you into possible greatness.
Finding a purpose is finding something that you enjoy doing, something that you can get swallowed up by and allow it to encompass you completely, while you're doing it of course.
So much more the better when you can make a living doing so, wouldn't you agree?
I've seen people that i've grown up with lose their way and i have to admit that it's kind of sad.
These are people that i grew up with; these are people that i would play football with all hours of the day; these are people that i would sit outside with in the winter time AT NIGHT, and just sit there and talk about life.
Do you know anybody who might have taken a "wrong turn" ?
I really feel hat EVERYBODY needs a direction to move towards in life, some sort of ideal that you are constantly moving toward.
It's like a anchor, or a lighthouse in the middle of the big sea we call life, constantly shining brightly to let you know which way you have to go, which difrection you have to keep moving in.
I have my own ideals and motivations and i'm painfully aware of the fact that i might want to stick with these ideals forever. So what do i do?
I'll find a new ideal when these ideals have served their purpose and i have learned as much as i can from following them.
I feel that this may be one of the keys to staying young as long as you want to.
Look at how children approach every day. As if it were a COMPLETELY NEW DAY.
A kid approaches the new day with electricity and energy. They are thinking of all the possibilities for fun they can have.
Thinking about those possibilities is what gives us energy, passion, and the power to act and be brave.
Have fun,
Amir

Something occurred to me the other day...
It became quite clear to me that labels have amazing influence on our perception of people and things, especially at the subconscious level.
The labels we place on things determine how we perceive that thing, and quite often, the labels isn't even appropriate
Labels act as a sort of blinder or cover t a degree, because once we've labeled something as this or that, we tend to delete all the other neat attributes of the person or thing being labeled.
Take for instance the label " vegetarian". When you hear that word, what thoughts pop into your mind now? Do you personally know any "Vegetarians". I don't.
Do you know any "Whores". I do, depending on who you ask...
Do you tend to label people or things without giving them a closer look and waiting to notice all the neat talents and abilities said person has, despite having the label of xxx?
I'll admit, that i'm totally guilty of labeling people and things. However, after much experience, i've developed the habit of catching myself when I do it and direct myself to notice something about the person i'm talking with or thinking about.
Usually the process goes like this: "Oh, he's a Democrat" and instantly, every association that i have built up around that word for the time i learned it until now is attached to that person and that's it. The poor sucker is A Democrat, now and forever in my mind. And that label will cause me to interact with him in a certain way, even though I may not be consciously aware of it at the moment.
The awesome thing about labels is that they have the ability to trigger emotion and thoughts in others.
How many labels do you know?
How many do you use in a single day, that you are are aware of?
When's the last time you labeled someone?
Have Fun,
Amir

Winter days...
It's freaking cold!!!
You know it's cold when a person whose a self proclaimed winter person complains about it being cold...
It's like 5 below zero here in upstate new york and it's only getting colder.
This is the type of weather where the only things you can do are:
1) sleep,
2)have lots of sex until you end up like the guy from "scary movie" who bust a nut and turned into a skeleton
3)read and plan and organize your life so that this summer will be the best summer on record, until next summer of course...
4) Eating alot and fallign into a sort of hibernation state, which is what i'm doing right now. I plan to gain as much weight as possible and have fun doing it.
5) You tell me.
Winter days are perfect because you're actually forced to stay in the house, and in nature's imposed lockdown, you are kind of confronted with yourself.
Your deepest thoughts, the thoughts that you push to the side during the coruse of your daily life, seem to come forward with greater frequency during this time.
I think it's a good thing. Sometimes things and thoughts that we aren't even aware of will influence our day to day actions, and that can cause havoc.
One of the most important steps in changing a problem and developing healthy strategies that will help you move in the direction that you want to move in, is to become aware of those thoughts and attitudes.
Did you know that crime rates are proven to decrease during the winter? It's absolutely true. I think it's partly because no matter how dumb the dumbest criminal is, they know that there's not far they can go when their footprints are leaving a clear trail to their hiding place. I could be wrong, but then again, i'm always right.
So instead of just going stir crazy, you can take this time now to really take a inventory of yourself and the direction your moving in, and decide whether or not this is the direction that you want to move in, and if it's not, then make the appropriate changes and find the appropriate resources to help you move in the direction that you DO want to move in.
Drink lot of soups and warm liquids to help warm up body up from the inside. No, not just beer....
Have fun finding out things about yourself that you might not have been consciously aware of.

Qualifying Women...
There are many reasons why you want to learn to qualify women. One very important reason I can think of right now off the top of my head is COMPATIBILITY. You want to determine whether or not you and this woman will get along, and determine what things you have in common, if any.
Another very important reason you want to learn to qualify the women you encounter is to make sure that both you and her don't waste your time. How much would it suck if you were to have a sexual relationship with a woman and find out months later that she doesn't believe in god... and you do... Think about it for a minute and see how you might feel....
Qualifying women/men is a very important habit that you want to develop, as if you hadn't noticed that already....
Another important note on qualifying women: Don't overdo it!!! Let me clarify what I mean by that: Don't keep qualifying a woman after she's qualified herself to your satisfaction ie you have lots of things in common, as far as similar values and beliefs.
When you overdo the qualifying phases, it can put the woman under a sort of pressure that can be uncomfortable to say the least, especially if you haven't developed a steady and deep rapport with one another.
I've been on the end of qualifying overdone and let me tell you, it sucks. I don't think that this girls intentions were to "overqualify" me and in doing so, make me very uncomfortable.
Long story short, we met in a really awesome nightclub in London on a Saturday night and she called me the following monday. We spoke on the phone for about an hour, and let me tell you, it felt as if that was the longest hour of my life up to that point...
Have you ever felt like time seemed to slllllloooooooowwww wwwwwwaaaaayyyyy ddddoooowwwnnnnn, almost to the point where it seemed to stop....
After her first few questions, and after asking me if I was a vegetarian or if I drank regular milk, it became clearly obvious to me that she was screening me/qualifying me, which was okay, but it just felt more like an interview rather than a heart to heart conversation, partly because we hadn't spent anytime to together and developed any rapport.
I sure do appreciate the aggressiveness of the ladies in London, that's for damn sure.
My point is this: Make sure you have developed rapport with a man/woman before you qualify them. You want the other person to be comfortable because, after all, this may turn out to be something very special and you want to have a solid foundation on which to develop a relationship, whether it be sexual or monogamous.
You can develop rapport by matching physiology of course. This is subtly mirroring their body movements and gestures. You can also mirror breathing, although some people find that a bit challenging at first. However, as with all things, it's a challenge in the beginning until you practice noticing these things.
Once you start to pay attention to things like breathing and the gestures a person makes, it's starts become easier to match and mirror.
There are tons of ways to easily gain rapport with the person you choose.
The only thing that matters is that you have fun learning and discovering all the neat ways you can do that. Now...
Have Fun,
Amir
