You can easily build Lean muscles and Burn fat when you understand....

Nutrition is a science.

But... it's not a rocket science...

You see, when you understand the principles of "Macronutrients" and " Nutrient Density', then you will have a much easier time making healthy food choices.

Now, what are Macronutrients?

Macronutrients are Proteins, Carbohydrates, and Fats.

The primary role of protein is maintenance. Protein is hardly ever used for energy unless you're engaged in some activity that requires you to move continuously for a hour or more. And even iin that situation, your body will use protein LAST. Carbs and fats go first.

The primary function of Carbs and Fats are to provide you with energy. Fats are stored energy that will help you if you're ever on a dessert island and you have to go days without food.

Carbs are important for your brain and your nervous system. Carbs are also high in vitamins and minerals, for the most part.

You get your proteins from sources like chicken, beef, legumes, nuts, seeds, fish, lamb, etc.

You get your sugars and starches from Fruits, Vegetables, and Grains( Many grains have a alot of protein in them)

You get your fats from dairy and other sources. Many proteins have saturated fat in them, so there you go.

Nutrient Density is a fancy way of saying that you should choose a food with a high amount of nutrients and vitamins and minerals.

Now, what are your muscles made of?

Well...

Our muscles are about 70% water and 20% PROTEIN.

Now, let's use a little bit of inductive reasoning, shall we?

See, If muscles are made of protein, then doesn't it make sense that you can have a easier time building your muscles if you consume protein?

Is a sugary cookie going to provide the necessary building block for building new muscles?

Nope. They sure as hell taste delicious though, don't they?

Now, what's so important about understanding the basics of nutrition?

Can you build long and powerful muscles with a steady diet of cake and ice cream?

Doubt it. You sure as hell can build up on HUGE reserve of energy buy eating that stuff all the time and NOT exercising 30 minutes a day.

By "reserve", I mean a big ole' beer gut, complete with curly black hairs....

Now...

Let me be totally clear here:

I am, in no shape or form advocating a high protein diet, which places strain on the kidneys because of all the urea produced from the breakdown of proteins in the body.

The results that you can gain from are FAST, but...

They are short term and as soon as you stop eating like this, your body will put back on all the weight you lost... and more.

I'm talking about eating 5-6 balanced meals a day, each consisting of 50% protein, 30% carbs, and 20% fat. You don't have to have your meals exactly to these specifications, but you want to have your meals with this ratio or something similar.

When you eat 5-6 small meals like this, you provide your body with all the nutrients it needs to maintain(protein) and energize(carbs and fats).

Start to eat in this way and notice how much energy you have throughout the day.

Sincerely,

Amir
